^Lot 1306 2 RELIC WWII GERMAN STEEL HELMET SHELLS WITH

COLLECTOR APPLIED DECALS. 1) M1935 shell in a dark green finish with a Party decal on the left and a reapplied SS decal on the right. There is no liner, band, or chinstrap. The inside rear is stamped "3542" and the inside left is stamped "ET64". CONDITION: finish is not bad, about 60% and the decals are about 50%+. There are minor losses to the front rim. 2) M1940 shell in a black over dark green finish with an added SS decal on the right. There is no liner, present, but an original appearing aluminum rim band and reproduction chinstrap are present. The inside rear is stamped "N__2" and the inside left is stamped "NS6_". CONDITION: finish is about 30-40% and the decal is about 35%. There is significant pitting to the shell both inside and out. The band shows oxidation and the chinstrap is very stiff. (02-26599/BF).
